Hey everyone! A smaller update: fixes and speedups. • New - Change your password from your Profile (email/password accounts). - Email not verified? Profile now has a "Resend verification" button. • Faster - Homepage and theme pages load much lighter images (about 70% smaller). - The Marketplace shows placeholder cards while it loads, so the page no longer jumps around. - Shared rosters load less code, and if one takes a moment on first open you'll see a note that the server is waking up. • Fixes - New share codes skip look-alike characters (0/O, 1/I/L). Old links keep working. - Marketplace cards with no image show a clean placeholder instead of a blank box, and link previews for those rosters work again. - Subscription confirmation and cancellation emails are sent again. - "Make your own version" links now keep the roster through signup. - The Back button no longer gets stuck on the login page. - Security updates under the hood.

Hey everyone! Most of you open rosters on your phone, and until now the game themes just told you to rotate it. Not anymore. • New - Phone layout for every game theme. Hold your phone upright on Smash, Street Fighter 6, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 1 or Naruto Storm 4 and you get a layout made for it: a big render of the fighter, a swipeable strip with the whole roster, and P1/P2 + Confirm right under your thumb. Tap to preview, tap again to lock in. Each one keeps its game's look. Rotate to landscape for the full select screen. Works on every shared roster, old ones included. - Two new Custom layouts for phones: Preview Strip (the same layout as the game themes, in your colors and font) and Swipe Select (one fighter per screen, swipe through your roster). - The homepage now leads with Naruto Storm 4, the always-free theme, and the theme cards show both players picked. • Fixes - Picking Player 2 on touch screens: the Custom builder now has a P1/P2 toggle at the top. Before, Player 2 was hidden behind a tap order nobody could guess, and needed right-click in landscape. - Shared Custom rosters now fill the screen on phones held upright (they were squeezed into a thin strip). - No more "rotate your phone" prompt on Custom layouts that already work upright. - Spotlight uses bigger tiles on phones; Slide Select opens the roster when you tap a player's side. - Street Fighter 6: fighters with cropped art (Ryu, Ken, Akuma and others) looked too small next to full-body picks. Their heads now line up. - Naruto Storm 4: removed the orange/blue glow behind selected fighters. - The remix button and the "Made with" badge no longer overlap on phones.

This one covers July and August. • Plans - The game themes (Smash Ultimate, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Mortal Kombat 1 and Street Fighter 6) are now part of Premium, and one of them is free for everyone each month. September is Mortal Kombat 1, October is Street Fighter 6. - Naruto Storm 4 and the Custom builder stay free, always. - Free plan: 1 pack with 12 fighters and 2 shared rosters. Nothing you already made was deleted. If you're over the limit, everything keeps working; you just can't add more until you're under it. - Opening a shared roster never needs a subscription, whatever theme it uses. • Sharing - Shared rosters now have a "Make your own version" button so visitors can remix them, plus a "Made with fighterroster.com" badge on free plans (Premium can turn it off per roster). - Every theme has its own page, e.g. fighterroster.com/themes/smash-ultimate, with its own link preview. - Opening a shared roster on a phone held upright now gives you somewhere to go instead of a dead end. • Site - New homepage built around real screenshots of every theme and live rosters from the Marketplace.

Street Fighter 6 theme: the Character Select recreated — neon hex tile grid over a graffiti-alley backdrop, official ink-splash renders flanking your picks, and the neon-tube screen title. Free for everyone, landscape-oriented.

Both players get their own name plate and a class/stats panel (P1 magenta, P2 cyan). Costume cycling and multi-page rosters work like the other game themes, and your characters’ big images appear as the flanking art when you upload one in the Dashboard.

Dragon Ball FighterZ theme: the full select screen — golden energy vortex, staggered three-row grid, 3-per-side team zones with standing character art, per-slot costume cycling and multi-page rosters.

Mortal Kombat 1 (Khaos Reigns) theme: the two-row card grid with the dragon centre cell, giant selected-fighter renders, P1/P2 cursor flags and the swamp-stage backdrop.

Both themes are free, landscape-oriented, and use your characters’ big image on the selected-fighter displays when you upload one in the Dashboard.

Marketplace: two official showcases are now listed — the complete Dragon Ball FighterZ roster (44 fighters) and the Mortal Kombat 1 Khaos Reigns roster (35 fighters). Open the Marketplace to check them out.

Hey everyone! Big round of improvements across the whole site this time. And about the Dragon Ball roster I mentioned last time — it's fully built and in final testing, so it's coming very soon. • New - Marketplace listing is now open to all plans — free accounts can list their rosters in the marketplace too. - Richer sample roster: the "Add Sample Fighters" button now seeds 9 legendary warriors with full art, stats, and bios. - The Rosters menu in the navbar now lists every theme automatically, with NEW and SOON tags so you can see what's coming.

• Improved - Marketplace visual refresh: roster cards are now tinted with their theme's colors and show character art properly (faces, not torsos). - Cleaner monthly/annual billing toggle on the Pricing page. - View counts on shared rosters no longer count your own visits. - Success and error messages now show as toast notifications instead of browser popups. - Better mobile responsiveness across the roster screens.

• Fixed - Fullscreen 16:9 and Fill display modes no longer show black bars around your roster. - Floating buttons no longer sit on top of your roster art — on desktop they fade out when idle and come back when you move the mouse. - Versus Splash layout: both portraits now show properly in their halves, the divider line matches the background cut, and you can switch costumes right on the splash screen. - Signup verification is more resilient — no more getting stuck after entering your code. - Dashboard: the reorder grip no longer overlaps the character class badge. One heads-up: the Stages section has been retired so I can focus on rosters. Custom backgrounds in the Custom theme still work exactly as before. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still working on the website. Right now, I'm focusing on the Dragon Ball and Street Fighter rosters. • New - Released the Smash Ultimate roster theme to production. - Added a changelog page, making it easier to follow updates to the website. • Fixes and Improvements - Fixed an issue where Storm 4 failed to render correctly on smaller landscape devices. - The Storm 4 theme is now landscape-only, with no fallback to a generic mobile theme. - Fixed a frustrating bug where certain letters weren’t recognized in snapshot names/tags. - Improved scaling: roster containers now calculate height more accurately on both mobile and desktop navigation layouts. - Increased the character image size limit to 10MB.
